Because of the national VIPS Program, the Fairfax County Police Department is able to broaden our base of potential volunteers not only within Northern Virginia but throughout the country by use of the VIPS Website.

VIPS Program Description Input Form

Register Your Program

The VIPS directory includes state, local, tribal, or campus law enforcement agencies that offer volunteer opportunities or organizations working in partnership with a law enforcement agency (such as a Retired Senior Volunteer Program) to place volunteers within a law enforcement agency.

Your submission will be reviewed by a member of the VIPS staff before the process is complete. Click here to update a previously registered program. For assistance, please contact info@policevolunteers.org.

All fields marked with * are required.

Program Contact

The contact should be the volunteer coordinator/manager. Registrations submitted by someone other than a member of a law enforcement agency will require departmental approval/confirmation.
