Program Description

The Logan City Police Department Explorer program is a group of teenage boys and girls who volunteer their time to assist the PD with duties such as: fingerprinting civilians, pedestrian traffic at special events, role players for police training, patrol ride along department support at special events. Members of the Explorer post wear a special uniform, learn police radio and patrol proceedure and several have gone on to careers in the Law Enforcement arena.
