Program Description

The Cosmopolis Police Reserve program has been active since 1976. The reserve officers supplement the full time police force by performing the same duties as regular patrol officers. The Cosmopolis Police Department reserve program is a three step program. Level one reserves are partnered with a full time officer at all times and are on a field training program. Level two reserve officers are used for special details such as parades and other events. Level three reserve officers are used for solo patrol and are eligible for paid patrol shift coverage in emergency situations.

Our reserve officers run there own non for profit organization. The Cosmopolis Police Reserve Officer Association.
