The Florence Chapter of the Oregon State Police Volunteers was formed in 1994 to combat the rising number of auto break ins.

For the past 14 years we have been patrolling the campgrounds and waysides of the Central Oregon Coast providing a positive point of contact for visitors and serving as a deterrent to the criminal element.
Our program is supported by grants and donations from the community and from concerned individuals.
There is no state funding involved.
