Because of the national VIPS Program, the Fairfax County Police Department is able to broaden our base of potential volunteers not only within Northern Virginia but throughout the country by use of the VIPS Website.

Program Description

Founded in 2000, we provide non-enforcement services in the areas of Special Events, Records Management, and Special Projects. Our Mission is to assist the Department in generating positive relationship between the Police, the Community, and visitors. We are a Resort Community with a permanent population base just over 4,000 and the scope of our activities is different from most agencies with volunteer programs.
Because of our small population, we seek and encourage participation from seasonals and residents of other communities in Eagle County.
