The national Volunteers in Police Service Program provides invaluable support to the many state and local volunteer programs. We are able to use the resources, examples, and inspiration provided by the national VIPS Program. This valuable assistance has helped the Eugene Police Department to shape our vision for volunteer services and develop a highly successful and effective volunteer program to support our organization and the community we serve.
